Loose Flange or call it joint flange are widely used, supplied, manufactured and distributed in many countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, Oman, Africa, Malaysia & many countries in USA & Europe. These flanges are exactly used on a piping fitted with the lapped pipe or with lap joint stub ends and has initial cost of two items being one third higher than that of slip on flanges. These flanges are normally used in systems requiring frequent dismantling for inspection and also needs cleaning. The advantages of lap joint are it can easily have freedom to swivel around the pipe facilities and up of opposing flange bolt holes.
